About Brighton 

Brighton Coggins is a theatrical costume designer and technician based in Alaska. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alaska, Anchorage (UAA) in 2020 with a major in Theater and a Design and Technical Theater concentration. His design credits include UAA's productions of Romeo and Juliet and Frozen, as well as Blue Chair Production's Ugly Lies The Bone. Brighton has worked as a cutter/draper, stitcher, costume crafts artisan, wardrobe crew member, and assistant costume shop manager on a variety of productions; some of his favorites include Lysistrata (UAA), That Long Damn Dark (UAA), and As You Like It (Illinois Shakespeare Festival). In addition to costuming, Brighton occasionally works as a videographer and editor for theatrical productions. When not in the theater, Brighton spends his time writing poetry, playing guitar, and hanging out with his cat, Neatoe.
